MERIDIA (generic name, Sibutramine) is a prescription pill that affects the brain's appetite control centers, helping users to stick with a reduced calorie diet. Meridia can have many side effects, including headache, dry mouth, constipation, insomnia, and more seriously, an increase in blood pressure and heart rate.
